Packaging:    VLDL is membrane filtered and aseptically packaged in a solution containing phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 and 1 µM EDTA.

Preparation:    Thanbio Human Very Low Density Lipoprotein, VLDL, (Cat. No. TBP9) is isolated from blood bank produced human plasma. It is purified via ultracentrifugation (d<1.006 g/mL) to homogeneity determined by agarose gel electrophoresis. Each lot is analyzed on agarose gel electrophoresis for migration versus LDL.

Stability:                 This product is stable for 6 weeks after receipt when handled aseptically and stored at 2-8°C. NEVER FREEZE.

*Special Note:    After prolonged storage, some precipitate may be observed. This is normal for this product. Clarify out the aggregates by spinning in a microfuge for 2 minutes.
